Owner - BCBA, LBA
Maria DiLucente
Maria is the Clinical Director of James River Behavioral Solutions and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Richmond, VA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and pursued further education, obtaining a Master's in Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. Prior to spearheading James River Behavior, Maria worked as an educational consultant, clinical supervisor, and psychiatric technician in various settings. Maria is dedicated to educating both clients and stakeholders about sexuality education, driven by her passion for the subject. Beyond her professional endeavors, Maria finds fulfillment in nurturing her passions. She dedicates time to gardening, fostering for her local animal shelter, puzzles, and prioritizes strength training to maintain a balanced lifestyle. Maria is a Therapeutic Consultant in Central Virginia.
Adam Warman
Clinical Director- BCBA, LBA
Adam Warman is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Special Educator in Richmond, Virginia. He began his career as a Special Education teacher and completed graduate work at Clarion University in Behavioral Rehabilitation. In 2001, he began practicing behavior analysis as a Mobile Therapist before moving to Richmond in 2004. For the last 20 years, he has spent time establishing a wide variety of programs at The Faison Center, serving as a Subject Matter Expert for the Behavior Analysis Certification Board, training first responders in techniques to better serve people with disabilities, serving on the board for the Organizational Behavior Management Network, and volunteering for other boards and organizations serving their communities. When not working, he enjoys seeing live music, playing with his dogs, and playing games with friends.

clinician - bcba, lba
Sean is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Sean has been active in the ABA field since 2007. Sean graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science in 2014. Sean continued his education with a Masters Certificate of Assistant Behavior Analyst from Florida Institute of Technology in 2023. When he is not working, Sean enjoys cooking, playing guitar, and seeing live music whenever possible.

Alex Barnard
With over 7 years of experience in the field of applied behavior analysis, Alex has worked in home, clinic, school, and community settings. It has been an honor to serve individuals across the entire spectrum of disabilities and witness some incredible and life-changing results firsthand. As a consultant, Alex has discovered a passion for working with adults, finding it the most rewarding area of behavior analysis despite its challenges. When not working, Alex enjoys spending time with family, reconnecting with nature, or seeking out the next culinary adventure.
Sonja Elliott
CLINICIAN - BCABA, CCTS-A
Sonja is a Virginia Licensed Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst in Northern Virginia. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Art Therapy from George Mason University and obtained her Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate from the Florida Institute of Technology. In addition, Sonja is a Certified Clinical Trauma and Addiction Specialist (CCTS-A), addressing complex behavioral issues and providing comprehensive support to individuals dealing with trauma and addiction challenges. Over the past decade, Sonja has demonstrated a passion for improving the lives of others through evidence-based interventions and compassionate care. She is skilled in conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior support plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. to promote positive outcomes for individuals.
Kimani Fraser
CLINICIAN - BCABA, LABA
Kimani graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice. She started her career working as a residential care planner before becoming a behavior technician. Kimani quickly found that supporting clients and their families was my passion. She decided to continue her education at the Florida Institute of Technology where she graduated with her Master's of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis. Kimani is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst. When she’s not working, she loves to travel and spend time with her dog.

CLINICIAN - BCaBA, LaBA
Kira graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. She began her career as a direct support professional and case manager for children with mental health and behavioral challenges, later transitioning into the role of a behavior technician. Inspired by her work with the autism population, Kira continued her education at Mary Baldwin University, earning her BCaBA certification. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. Outside of work, Kira enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
Emma natzke
CLINICIAN - BCBA, LBA
Emma is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst licensed in the commonwealth of Virginia. Emma graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor's in psychology in 2018 and has worked in applied behavior analysis with clients from toddlerhood to early adulthood. In 2023 Emma earned her Master's of Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis. In her free time Emma enjoys drawing, playing guitar, and spending time with her rescue dog, whom she found while canvassing in Tempe, Arizona.
dorothy hawkins
CLINICIAN - BCBA, LBA
Dorothy is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mary Baldwin University. Currently, she is pursuing her Masters of Arts in Behavior Analyst Practice from Florida Institute of Technology. She has experience in multiple settings including in schools, clinics, and in homes. Outside of work she enjoys puzzles, reading, hikes, and spending time with friends and family.
With a diverse team of licensed clinicians on staff, including a Spanish-speaking clinician, we ensure that each client is matched with the right fit for their individual needs and preferences.
